Looking to capitalize on the extended Memorial Day weekend, Warner Bros. confirms to E! News that The Hangover Part III will be opening in theaters on Thursday, May 23, a day earlier than originally scheduled.
The move means the final romp in Todd Phillips' R-rated comedy trilogy, which reunites castmembers Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, will have a head start against Universal's Fast & Furious 6, which hits theaters Friday. The two tentpoles both skew heavily male, which ought to make for an interesting race at the box office.

so--called "phablets," the Tab 3 has calling capabilities, but not much more in the way of tech specifications than its Tab 2 predecessor. That could mean an aggressive price point to take on the low end of the market.
Samsung on Monday announced the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch mini tablet. The device-- will come with 8 or 16 MB of internal storage and up to 64 MB of expandable memory.
A WiFi-only version of the Galaxy Tab 3 will be available worldwide in May, and a 3G version will be launched in --June.
Product availability will vary by market in a gradual roll-out.

It may seem odd to imagine that tablets could be passe in five years, as BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins has suggested, but five years is a long time in the tech world --- particularly when it comes to mobile tech. The map also has data breakdowns by gender and age group, so marketers are
also wondering if there is any actionable information to help with brand video messaging.
That type of data has been available from YouTube before, but the new feature is a visualization of the kind of analytic information that YouTube and parent company Google are very good at collecting.
The map adds a ---greater sense of discovery for users, said Greg Sterling, founder of Sterling Market Intelligence.
